Artist's Description
One of the Twin Ponds that are part of the Forge River system in Mastic. For many years, duck farms lined the area polluting the river. An effort is being made to clean up the area as there are no longer any duck farms remaining. The Forge River empties into the Great South Bay along the south shore of Long Island.
