A real statement of this union, let us pray we can, not just repair it, but make it more in alignment with the voice of the people. The inspirational words of our Declaration of Independence and Constitution which, though written in a time when women were chattle, ethnicities other than white were slaves or experiencing genocide, and human rights were only for the wealthy men, still holds the key to the nation we dream of being. E pluribus unum.. out of many, one. A nation with respect for all life and a voice for every person. One with integrity and stewardship for life forms and the planet. It will take time but things of profound value usually do. Thank you for this great photo, it does deserve to win the contest and you have my vote. lf

Oh this is great Cathy. I love the selective coloring when it is done right and it sure is here. I also love all the texture that is captured here.
